What we could not verify

  • The 2027 dates for the Chickamauga, Kennesaw Mountain, Fort Pulaski, Andersonville and Kettle Creek anniversary programs are not posted yet. We show the usual timing until the parks announce them.
  • Super Museum Sunday 2027 is Sunday, February 7 on the Georgia History Festival page, but the Pickett’s Mill park calendar lists it on Saturday, February 13. Check with the site you plan to visit.
  • The Savannah Tour of Homes & Gardens website still shows its 2015 tour, so we could not confirm a current date or organizer.

We re-check these when the source pages change. Spot something we missed? Use the corrections page.

About Hank Whitlock

Hank Whitlock is the pen name of the It's Georgia editor. Every guide is built around the questions a busy family actually asks before a trip: how long is the drive, what does parking cost, can the stroller make it, are dogs allowed. Details are checked against official park, city, and venue sources, and each guide shows the date it was last updated.
