Eight corn mazes within day-trip reach of Atlanta have published 2026 seasons. They open between September 11 (Buford Corn Maze) and September 25 (Cagle’s Family Farm) and close between November 1 and November 15. Admission that includes the maze runs from $12 to $24.95 a person. The biggest maze is Uncle Shuck’s 15-acre field in Dawsonville. None of the seven that publish a pet policy allows dogs.

Prices, dates and rules are as each farm publishes them, checked September 19, 2026. None of these farms publishes a driving distance or drive time from Atlanta, so we don’t give one. Each farm’s own directions are in its section below.

Which corn maze is the biggest near Atlanta?

Uncle Shuck’s: a 15-acre field with about 6 miles of trails, split into two mazes with checkpoints. The farm says one maze can take as little as 30 minutes and both can take up to 2 hours. Next come Washington Farms at 6.5 acres, Buford Corn Maze at 5 acres and Southern Belle Farm at 4 acres. The other four don’t publish an acreage.

What are the 2026 corn maze designs?

Only two farms have said what this year’s field shows. Jaemor Farms’ 2026 maze is “A Tribute to Dolly Parton,” and the farm says it ties in with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Uncle Shuck’s 2026 design pays homage to the farm’s own logo and history, according to Forsyth County News (September 4, 2026). Warbington Farms says it cuts a new design every year but hasn’t revealed this year’s. Buford has given its haunted trail a storyline, “The 13th Row,” presented in 3-D with Chromadepth glasses, but hasn’t published a design for the daytime maze.

Where can you do a night or flashlight corn maze near Atlanta?

Five farms keep their mazes open after dark, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays.

Jaemor Farms (Alto): Flashlight Nights on October 23 and 24, open until 9 p.m.
Buford Corn Maze: The maze stays open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in September and November and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October.
Uncle Shuck’s: Open until 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday of the season. There’s a bonfire with marshmallows at dark on those nights, which the farm puts at around 7:30 p.m.
Cagle’s Family Farm: Fridays 5–10 p.m. and Saturdays until 10 p.m. A $5 add-on buys a tractor ride to the bonfire sites by Cagle’s Lake, with marshmallows.
Washington Farms: On its extended Fridays (October 9, 16 and 23), the farm is open 4–10 p.m. Last maze entry is an hour before closing.

Haunted or family maze: which farms have a scare trail?

Two do, and both keep the haunt separate from the daytime maze.

Uncle Shuck’s Dark Rows: A one-way haunted trail, separate from the regular maze, on October 2–3, 9–10, 16–17, 23–24 and 30–31. Entry starts at dark and the last tickets are sold at 10 p.m. It costs $24, or $29 as a combo with the maze. Flashlights aren’t allowed during the haunt, and ages 12 and under must go through with a parent. The farm promises a classic scare without extreme gore.
Buford’s Scream Zone, “The 13th Row”: Opens September 25 and runs from dusk on open weekend nights, plus every night of Halloween week (October 26–November 1). A haunt-only ticket is $18.52 and a combo with the maze is $32.41, both plus tax. The farm’s activities page calls it “frightfully fun for families and kids,” but its haunt page describes darkness, disorientation and figures in the corn. Judge it by your own child.

Is the corn maze included in admission?

Yes, at all eight farms the maze is part of the general activity ticket. Three things to watch:

Washington Farms weekdays: The $13.95 Tuesday–Friday morning ticket (9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) has its own activity list, and the corn maze is not on it. The maze is also closed on Columbus Day, October 12.
Haunted trails cost extra: A maze ticket doesn’t cover Uncle Shuck’s Dark Rows or Buford’s Scream Zone.
Online-only tickets: Washington Farms and Southern Belle Farm sell activity tickets online only. Washington Farms warns that time slots sell out and can’t then be bought at the gate. Uncle Shuck’s, Buford and Sleepy Hollow also sell at the gate (Sleepy Hollow: cash only, until capacity).

Can you take a stroller or a dog into a corn maze?

Dogs: no. All seven farms that publish a policy ban pets, and most admit service animals only. Sleepy Hollow publishes no pet policy on its fall page, so call before you go. If the dog is coming, our dog-friendly attractions database is a better starting point.

Strollers: none of the eight farms publishes a stroller policy for the maze. Buford notes that there is no pavement or sidewalk and that the field can get “mucky” after heavy rain. Uncle Shuck’s and Buford both warn that the maze ground is rough and uneven. A carrier is the safer choice for babies.

Which corn maze suits your group?

With a toddler: Cagle’s has Micah’s Mini Maze alongside the big one, and admission is free under age 3. Uncle Shuck’s has a kiddie maze and lets ages 4 and under in free. Go in daylight.
With teenagers: Uncle Shuck’s on an October Friday or Saturday. That’s the 15-acre maze plus the Dark Rows combo for $29.
Date night: Jaemor’s Flashlight Nights (October 23–24, until 9 p.m.), or Uncle Shuck’s maze and bonfire on a Friday or Saturday night.
After work on a weeknight: Buford is open noon–8 p.m. Monday to Thursday throughout October, and during Halloween week (October 26–29) the haunt runs from dusk to 11 p.m. Those are the latest weeknight hours we found.
On a budget: Sleepy Hollow is $12 on Wednesday and Thursday, or $15 at Cagle’s for everyone 3 and up. Pay cash at Uncle Shuck’s, where cards carry a 3.5% service charge.
South side of the metro: Southern Belle Farm in McDonough, which calls itself “just south of Atlanta.” September and November weekends are $18.95.
With the dog: Leave it at home or choose a different outing. None of the eight farms publishes a policy that allows pets.

Uncle Shuck’s, 125 Bannister Road, Dawsonville (from GA 400 northbound, left on Dawson Forest Road before the outlet mall). September and November: Fri 4–10 p.m., Sat 10 a.m.–10 p.m., Sun 10 a.m.–6 p.m. October: Sun–Thu 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Fri–Sat 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Closes for heavy rain or a waterlogged field.
Buford Corn Maze, 4470 Bennett Road, half a mile off I-985 at exit 8. Fri–Sun in September and November, daily October 1–November 1 (weekdays noon–8 p.m.; closes at 6 p.m. on October 14). Tickets are undated and include unlimited hayrides. Children 12 and under must walk the maze with an adult.
Washington Farms, 5691 Hog Mountain Road, Bogart. The maze has clues to solve and staff inside to help. Saturdays 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Cashless. Pairs well with a day in Athens.
Jaemor Farms, 5340 Cornelia Highway (GA 365) at mile marker 35, Alto. From October 1: Mon–Thu 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Fri 10 a.m.–7 p.m., Sat 9 a.m.–7 p.m., Sun 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Free parking, and outside food is allowed.
Southern Belle Farm, 1658 Turner Church Road, McDonough. Activities Sat 10 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sun 1–7 p.m., plus Columbus Day (October 12, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.); the farm’s hours block is still labeled “Fall 2025,” so confirm before you go. The market and pumpkin patch are free to enter.
Cagle’s Family Farm, 362 Stringer Road, Holly Springs. Children 14 and under must be with an adult, with no drop-offs. Cash and major cards.
Warbington Farms, 5555 Crow Road, Cumming. September hours are Thu–Fri 10 a.m.–3 p.m. and Sat 10 a.m.–5 p.m., depending on the weather; call 770-889-1515 for October. Its one-time pass is valid September 19–November 7, but the price text on the ticket page still cites last season’s dates, so we don’t quote a 2026 price. Cards carry a 2.6% fee.
Sleepy Hollow Farm, 628 Sleepy Hollow Road, Powder Springs. Wed–Fri noon–6 p.m., Sat–Sun 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and you must arrive by 5 p.m. Its fall page gives two different Halloween closing times (1 p.m. and 4 p.m.), so call before October 31.

A maze we dropped

Yule Forest in Stockbridge retired its pumpkin patch and corn maze in 2024, its website says. We couldn’t confirm a 2026 season for The Rock Ranch on an official site, so it isn’t listed.

Around metro Atlanta, most corn mazes open in mid-to-late September. In 2026, Buford Corn Maze opened September 11, Jaemor Farms the weekend of September 12–13, Uncle Shuck’s, Washington Farms, Southern Belle, Warbington and Sleepy Hollow on September 19, and Cagle’s Family Farm on September 25. Closing dates run from November 1 (Cagle’s, Sleepy Hollow) to November 15 (Buford, Southern Belle).

Are corn mazes free?

No. None of the eight corn mazes near Atlanta that we checked is free. In 2026, admission that includes the maze runs from $12 (Sleepy Hollow Farm, Wednesday–Thursday) to $24.95 (Southern Belle Farm on October weekends), and toddlers get in free at most farms. Some farms let you into the pumpkin patch free, but the maze always needs a ticket.

Can dogs go in corn mazes near Atlanta?
